“Zodiac” (or “Zodiak” or “Zodiaks”) was one of the big russian bands with a huge following, quite understandable because the music is definately great. You can read up on them on the very informative Wiki-Page about the band.

This record is the most known one, “Zodiac – Instrumental Rock Group” it says on the sleeve, but actually its very 80s disco with alot of synth-sounds aswell as real drums (thank god, I hate the real 80s disco stuff with those electronic drumsounds. 80s in general are a no-go area for me.)
For my personal taste most tracks are abit too slow, but there is atleast this one track that works great to be an opener or late-night filler in a DJ set. It’s A2 – “Pacific”.

But there is a fantastic video of a livegig by Zodiac in Moscow 2006 avaiable on Youtube, gosh I wish I had been there …

The good thing is that this record is actually avaiable as CD-ReIssue all over the world (mostly in a “2 Vinyl on one CD”-Set together with “Music in the Universe”, their other great LP). Go have a look (but be aware that you need to browse abit atleast for the term “Zodiac” because of the movie from Fincher):

Or try your luck to get the original vinyl on www.gemm.com. Or search on google.

I have to look but I think thats my only eastern disco-record. Honestly, they didnt made much disco in the eastern countries, more popish-disco stuff, but not real disco. I will try to get another great one for tomorrow :) I think I will kick it off with some good records before I really go to the “random” part.

ZODIAC had another next cool record – ‘Music In The Universe’, which is better, methinks… Less naive and more rocky and with better sound…
    ZODIAC was a Soviet SPACE.
In a heyday in USSR, ZODIAC LP was cool beyond belief…

It’s a pity that author described Zodiaks ( Zodiac ) as ”one of the big russian bands ” . They were latvians . It would be the same if one writes that it was german musician but actually it was frech .
Seems that still for many former nations forcibly or freely incorporated or occupied by soviets were considered as ” russians ” . In 90’s Zodiaks became one of the most popular latvian bands having a huge success mostly thanks to Janis Lusen’s creativity and influence to many people due his songs
containing huge national pride and bringing hopw for changes wich brought the collapse of USSR . J.Lusens is also a great solo artist ,has written several popilar musicals and also academic music pieces . For more check out latvian music web pages .

Many surgeons are very experienced with removing fat from the thighs because
of the popularity of liposuction from this area.
It is more challenging to the plastic surgeon to perform unilateral nipple reconstruction, because he has to match the other side.
By eating 2-3 times a day you are not giving your body the metabolic boost it needs
    to process the fat.
