Soundtrack for some Spy/SecretService TV-Series from the DEFA (East Germany’s movie production company.) The series was done 1973, this record is from 1979 however (wonder what took them so long). Pretty cool record overall, the song I chose is A1 - “Tentakel”, the opener, but the whole record has alot of groove, laidback tracks aswell as uptempo stuff. Unfortunately I have never seen this series (I was not even born at that time), so I can’t tell you anything about it except that Armin Müller-Stahl was in it.
Stole this one from my parents.
Seems to be a rare record, I couldn’t come up with results, maybe you have more luck looking for the composer or the title.
Und für alle Deutschen : wer genau hinguckt findet auch Kommissar Wolff aus Berlin.

This blog is amazing and I will go so far to say that it could cause a significant social impact on the music scene as a whole. I know I’ve never heard any of this stuff and it’s awesome from a curatorial point of view, historical point of view, sonic point of view, cultural point of view, political point of view, anthropological point of view… it’s so many levels yet so universal. Be proud.
“Tentakel” was very cool. Thanks for posting these. I’ll definitely be checking back again.
