Clickfix for Cooledit/Adobe Audition: This plugin is really the bomb. I know that Audition/Cool Edit comes with a built-in Click&Pop Remover, but this plugin is faster and does a much better job preserving transients (hard attack sounds like percussions and similar). I bought the basic version years ago and I am using it regularly. If you handle vinyl and use Audition or Cooledit, check this thing out.
Online Translators for eastern languages: There are a few services around that translate webpages from eastern countries to english (or german or whatever your like), great tools if you are researching information about the kind of music this page is all about.
Babelfish does an okayish job translating german to english, for those pages dealing with east-german music.
PROMT offers a great working Russian->English website translation for free.
GTS-Translation offers website translation for alot of eastern languages (polish, czech, hungarian etc.) which works well, problem is that they set some kind of cookie prohibiting proper use of this service. After about three translated pages you get a “Please wait before using this service again”-page. I still need to find a better one.
