Also spelled “Melodia” or “Melodija”. The government-run label from the USSR, all kinds of music released, mostly own russian productions but also licensed copies from other labels. Some of the licensed western records are just classy for the fact that names translated to cyrillic letters look awesome. There is some information on Wikipedia.
